My lazy day's lunch box

I'm sure everyone has those days, when you wake up so tired that you don't feel like cooking. The very thought of turning on the stove is so tiring. Well, today was that day for me. So I opened the fridge door and stood there staring inside, like it would magically make food appear. Since nothing appeared, I looked for left overs and all I had was cooked seasoned Kondai Kadalai [KK] (Chana/ Chickpeas) that I made yesterday for evening tea time snack,  batter for Dosa and a pack of cooked chicken cold cuts. So, I decided to make a cold cut chicken sandwich for my husband's lunch. I make sure I have a pack of cooked chicken cold cuts these days for emergencies like these.

Once I made the sandwich it was too small for the lunch box and for my husband ;) and it was also sliding back and forth, so to keep it in place I stuffed a peeled orange inside. There was still some space, so I tried inserting my son's snack box to hold the KK. And it fit. Once all was set it looked pretty, so I thought I'd get a picture and write about it :)  I had to put some plastic wrap on the KK to keep them from spilling out.
